For most of us, our earliest recollection of carpentry is with Joseph, husband of Mary. At the young age of 12, Master Craftsman Chad Jennings began what is now a lifelong passion for woodwork. He started in the antique business with his dad, James Jennings, refinishing and repairing furniture in his hometown of Ponchatoula, Louisiana. In 1994 he went to work for Ron Costanza, a local contractor, to broaden his knowledge by building and remodeling homes. This lifelong passion for creating such Wondrous Woodworks lead to him being recruited by the Hunt Auction Gallery, in Baton Rouge, where his creations were acquired by the highest bidder. From 2002 to 2012 Chad took on the role of Shop Foreman at a local woodshop in Ponchatoula, overseeing all aspects of design and production. Wondrous Woodworks proudly opened it's doors in 2012.
Wondrous Woodworks was founded with a passion that is displayed in every piece created. So whether it’s custom built cabinets, furniture, mantels, windows, doors, picture frames, staircases, shutters, etc. Chad Jennings’ craftsmanship is “something to be marveled”.
At Wondrous Woodworks we believe that each piece should be exactly what the customer has envisioned it to be. We accept and encourage customer involvement with each project. Whether you are having a piece of antique furniture repaired and refinished or you're planning your dream kitchen we will work together to assure you are a satisfied customer.
